20th Year Anniversary at the Frankfurt Music Messee for ROLAND
Every year at Frankfurt, we have a "demonstrators dinner" - meaning the musicians who play, perform, demonstrate and/or advise for Roland, all go to our favorite restaurant, "The Elba." This year, during dinner, I was given an officcially unofficial "lifetime achievement award" in respect of my 20 years in demonstrating and presenting electronic drums and percussion for Roland at Frankfurt. Needless to say, I was completely surprised by not only the honor, but also the 1.8 meter tall version of the photo collage below on this page. (by Hans Joerg Scheffler) I also recieved a T-Shirt with my face super-imposed on a "Brave Little Tailor" illustration. (in German, Snyder sort of means that). See below
